 Sponsorship for Pride:

Becoming a sponsor of Pride in the Pines 2012 gives your company and organization access to over 4,000 festival attendees.  According to the latest data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Affairs, gay and lesbian buying power reached $690 billion in 2011 and will likely top $712 billion in 2012.

The GLBT community also has a reputation of being loyal to gay – friendly companies: (68%) of gay and lesbian consumers say they are more likely to buy from or recommend a company they consider to be gay – friendly.   Tap into this lucrative market and referral system by letting the GLBT community know their business is valued by your company!

With over 4200 event goers who attend from all over the southwest region, NAPA Celebration weekend is now one of the largest festivals in Flagstaff. Attendees are from Phoenix, Tucson, and Northern Arizona all the way from Utah to New Mexico. By sponsoring Pride in the Pines 2012, festival attendees can choose your company as a valued place to spend their money.

Benefits for Sponsors:

How will the funds be utilized in your local community and the GLBTQ ?

  • Promotion of Flagstaff Diversity- Cultural diversity through awareness and education is the primary goal of Pride in the Pines. The festival has and will continue to promote this diversity through its programs, reaching out to the entire Flagstaff community.

  • Use of Community Talent and Expertise- In planning and executing our festival we have gone to great lengths to seek out those individuals, organizations, and businesses from our own Flagstaff community that possess the knowledge, talent, and expertise to make our festival successful. Our use of local resources has enhanced the quality of our festival greatly and we will continue to utilize these resources into the future.

  • Operations- The funding will provide the necessary cost in producing the ‘Pride in the Pines’ 17th annual festival weekend. This would include operations needs such as tenting, fencing, and staging, entertainment, special event insurance, security, marketing and outreach to Northern Arizona.  Also additionally, the funding will service our ever so popular Children’s Area that provides the service of games, entertainment and activities that are provided in a safe and friendly environment.
